Amana FAQs

Is Goodman a good furnace brand?

Yes. Goodman makes reliable high-efficiency furnaces at an affordable price, backed by Daikin. Registered Goodman furnaces get 10-year parts and lifetime heat exchanger coverage. Professional installation and yearly maintenance matter more than the brand for long-term reliability. We’ll compare the options with you in writing.

What is the Goodman furnace warranty?

Unregistered Goodman furnaces get a 5-year parts limited warranty. Register online within 60 days of installation for a 10-year parts limited warranty and a lifetime heat exchanger limited warranty, plus 10-year unit replacement on select models. We register it for you.

Why is my Goodman furnace flashing a light?

The flashing light on the control board is a diagnostic code. Count the flashes or take a photo, check your filter, and call (403) 312-9099 if the furnace won’t run normally. Never bypass safety switches; they’re there to protect your home.

How much does a Goodman furnace cost in Calgary?

Typical Calgary prices are about $5,500 to $7,000 for a single-stage furnace, $6,600 to $8,500 for two-stage and $9,500 to $11,000 or more for the modulating GMVM97. Goodman often sits at the lower end of each range. You get a written quote first.
